Bond Behavior between High-Strength Rebar and Steel-Fiber-Reinforced Concrete under the Influence of the Fraction of Steel Fiber by Volume and High Temperature

Steel-fiber-reinforced concrete (SFRC) is a composite material made by randomly distributing short steel fibers in normal (NC). In this study, central pull-out tests of 32 specimens were performed to investigate the bond behavior between high-strength rebar and SFRC under influence fraction fiber volume (Vf = 0%, 0.5%, 1.0% 1.5%) temperature (T 20, 200, 400 600 °C). The results show that NC specimens, splitting failure occurs below °C, while split-pullout above °C. Split-pullout all at each tested temperature. strength was found decay significantly effect Vf on improvement more obvious °C than 20 positive contribution construction rigid skeleton with coarse aggregates can play bridging role effectively retard expansion cracks. This improves high temperatures. bond–slip curve be divided into five stages, namely initial micro-slide phase, slip stress drop phase residual phase. A model relationship considering developed modifying existing NC. calculation agree well those testing.
